Zara is the well bred jumper bred mare and a proven producer, even at her young age. One of Zara's foals is an approved 1.6m jumper approved stallion.

Zara's sire, Cicero Z, is one of the most reliable sires worldwide and that translates into a high place in the WBFSH-Ranking! This big-framed Carthago Z son has been one of the most-used stallions in the world and he owes his success to the uniformity of his offspring, all highly competitive showjumpers! Already over one hundred of his descendants jump at 1.50m level, there are precious few stud stallions in history that can emulate this. Famous obviously, are Izzy by Picobello (Bertram Allen), Eristov (Jordan Coyle) and Fenia van Klapscheut (Marcel Marschall) but then we now also have Dundee vh Marienshof, Merqusio and Cicera de la Vayrie B who are the living publicity for their father. Cicero Z breeds generous horses with good movement.

Zara was bred twice in Germany and her 2021 foal has had amazing success and proof of the quality she can produce. This approved stallion by Emerald, has competed up to 1.6m and was sold to Spain . He was a champion at his stallion approvals. The auction he was sold at had this to say about him, "We cannot deny being proud of this champion. Because at the most recent stallion selection of the AES, Exclusive STS Z was declared reserve champion. We can understand why. He has a beautiful model. Can move very strongly and athletically. And shows the same jump over and over again. Withers up, pop off the ground and finish beautifully. An eye-catcher who also jumps top of the manners. And for your (stallion) stable the showpiece at competition or in the stallion competition."

Zara's stunning dam, Believe In Me, had a sport career herself, competing up to the 1.4m. Royally bred by Acorado I and out of a Attack Z dam, she is the result of strong jumper breeding. In addition to her sport career, she also had a few very successful offspring, including an approved stallion. Believe In Me's 2018 foal, Springsteen, was sold to Canada and is successfully competing 1.4m. This stunning stallion, although still young, has already had success in the 1.4m and will continue rising up the ranks.​

In 2025, Alpenglow Stables was given the wonderful opportunity to purchase Zara and add her to our small broodmare herd.

She is already proving to be a wonderful addition and the sweetest girl.

Zara is currently in-foal to Otamendi and due spring 2026.
