Alpenglow Stables is situated on a 10 acre farm in Central Washington. It is East of Seattle by an hour, with easy access to SeaTac Airport, and along I-90. When the farm was purchased it was just a hay field, with absolutely nothing on it. Over the next few years, it has been developed into the ideal training farm for young horses. There are large paddocks (both individual and shared) with shelters, automatic waterers and v-mesh fencing so no babies get their little hoofs caught. There are grass turnout fields with safe flex fencing and irrigation to provide all summer availability to grazing. There is a 100'x200' sand arena and a barn to store hay and a broodmare stall for foaling. We are also very fortunate to be able to grow our own orchard grass hay. Special care is given to ensure the best possible quality of hay to fuel Alpenglow horses.
There is plenty of wildlife that lives and visits. We have had large elk herds and baby deer born right here on the farm. There is a seasonal creek that runs through and we are close to the Teanaway River which helps draw more animals.
The farm provides a relaxing atmosphere and ideal environment for our baby horses.
